  1. Drink ½ gallon water daily.
  2. Eat five servings of vegetables daily.
  3. Corn is not a vegetable!
  4. Eat 1½ cups of legumes daily, in three ½-cup servings.
  5. Sleep at least 8 hours.
  6. Rest 1 day in 7.
  7. Give up caffeine!
  8. Choose eggs, meat, poultry, fish, or seafood as your protein sources.
  9. Eat nuts every day.
  10. Avoid artificial sweeteners.
  11. Drink purified water.
  12. Don’t skip meals.
  13. Don’t sleep under an open window.
  14. Wear a hat in the winter!
  15. Don’t eat sweets.
  16. Don’t go to bed with wet hair.
  17. Keep your feet warm.
  18. Never allow yourself to be hungry.
  19. Avoid engineered low fat and no fat products.
  20. Use oil instead of butter or margarine.
  21. Hardwood floors are healthier than carpet.
  22. Eat eggs and beans for breakfast.
  23. Always choose the least invasive route first.
  24. Sweets are at the root of most health problems.
  25. Make your beverage choice water.
  26. If your health plan is not working, change strategies.
  27. Choose vegetables over starches.
  28. Make proteins the dominant part of your meal.
  29. Proteins slow sugar absorption.
  30. If beans are on the menu, order them.

  45. Don’t let your circumstances rattle your cage. Stay calm.
  46. Most health problems are easily corrected with nutrition.
  47. Use a fly swatter or a shoe to exterminate bugs. It’s safer than pesticides.
  48. Eat fish, nuts, and seeds often for healthy skin and hair.
